DrFinder.ai

How It Works

DrFinder searches public physician registries and returns results based on your criteria. Here's the process.

1

Enter your search

Select a specialty type and enter your zip code. You can also filter by whether you want in-person visits or telehealth options.

2

Review results

We query the NPI Registry and return providers matching your criteria. Results show name, credentials, specialty, and practice location.

3

Request an appointment

When you find a provider, you can submit a contact request. We'll pass your information along so their office can reach out to schedule.

4

Verify and confirm

Before your appointment, confirm directly with the provider's office that they accept your insurance and are taking new patients.

Where the data comes from

All provider information comes from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), which is maintained by CMS. This is the same registry used by insurance companies and healthcare organizations to verify provider credentials.

What we don't have access to

Real-time appointment availability, current insurance networks, and whether a provider is accepting new patients. These details change frequently and need to be confirmed when you contact the office.
