About DrFinder
DrFinder is a search tool that helps people locate physicians using publicly available registry data.
Finding the right doctor shouldn't require hours of searching across multiple websites, calling offices, or relying on outdated directories. We built this tool because we've spent years working in healthcare and know how difficult the process can be.
Our team has backgrounds in healthcare operations, patient coordination, and provider network management. We've helped patients navigate referrals, locate specialists, and verify credentials—often manually. DrFinder puts that same process into a straightforward search interface.
What we do
We aggregate data from public sources including the NPI Registry and state licensing boards. When you search, we return results based on specialty, location, and practice type. That's it—no rankings based on who pays us, no featured listings, no hidden algorithms.
What we don't do
We don't verify current insurance participation, appointment availability, or whether a provider is accepting new patients. That information changes frequently and needs to be confirmed directly with the provider's office. We also don't provide medical advice or recommendations.
Data sources
- National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES)
- State medical board licensing records
- Publicly available practice information
Information is updated regularly, but we recommend verifying details directly before scheduling an appointment.
